With the drive to make poverty history and foster modernization
in developing countries, various efforts and initiatives have
been conceived and implemented to deliver infrastructure that
is badly needed to provide impetus to development. For the
success of these projects it is imperative that unnecessary
losses related to deficient procurement practices are alleviated
so that resources are dedicated to the causes for which they
were conceived.
