1973: Obtained a B.Sc (Elect.Eng) degree at University of Nairobi

1987-89 Employed as Chief of Engineering Planning with Uganda Posts &
Telecommunications Corporation (UPTC), served as Deputy National
Coordinator/RASCOM project that is Regional African Satellite Communication
Project. Produced the Uganda country report on RASCOM.

May 1989: As one of the 5 ITU- Consultants based in Abidjan, studied and made
recommendations on the expansion and utilisation of the PAN-AFRICAN
TELECOMMUNICATIONS NETWORK. A publication ITU/RAF/R.213
Project Raf/87/011, was issued.
August 1990: Attended ITU-seminar at Malawi Polytechnic on Fundamentals of Satellite systems.
December 1991: Attended an Intelsat seminar held in Kampala on digital satellite technologies.

1999-2001 Consulting services to Ministry of Health:-drafting technical specifications.
tender evaluation, contract negotiation and project supervision for:-
(1) HF/VHF referral radio communications network
(2) Sound & TV program distribution by satellite and broadcasting.

1997-1999: Telecommunications Consultant: Responsible for preparation of technical
specifications, tender documents, tender evaluation and project supervision.
Proprietor and CEO of Intercom Uganda Ltd. Responsible for all operations
of the firm ie consulting services, equipment supply, installation and
maintenance.

1994-1997: Telecommunications consultant with Tele-consultants of Uganda Ltd.
Assignments included preparation of technical specifications, tender
evaluation, functional assessment and restoration of telecoms equipment and
providing technical support for due diligence to telecommunications investors.

1991-1994: Employed as Acting General Manager/Engineering Planning and construction
department of UPTC. Responsible for coordinating and supervising the
planning and implementation of all engineering projects.

1988-1991: Employed as chief of Engineering Planning Division of UPTC.
supervised the drafting of short, medium and long term telecommunications
programmes, project engineering and design, equipment specifications., tender
evaluations and contract negotiations.

1980-1988: Employed as Principal Executive Engineer in Various divisions that is planning,
maintenance and operations. As local counterpart to ITU consultants, participated
in drawing up a national plan for digitalisation of the telecommunications network.

1977-1979: Employed as Tele-Engineer at Kjeller Research Institute of (NTA). Participated in
investigations on overflow telephone traffic characteristics and in the development of
the cluster theory.

1975-1976: Employed as Executive Engineer in the maintenance division of the East Africa
Posts and Telecommunications corporation (EAP&TC).

1973-1975: Employed as pupil Engineer in the EAP&TC. Underwent industrial / on-job
training in all telecommunications disciplines, covering the divisions of
planning, construction, equipment installation and maintenance of telephone
exchanges, radio transmission systems, satellite earth station, power and
air-conditioning equipment.

and associated digital exchanges under Kagera Basin Organisation-KBO project.
1991-1994: Construction of outside cable plants in Jinja, Entebbe & Kampala.

2000-2003: Consulting services for Ministry of Health for Sound & TV distribution by satellite and FM radio broadcasting.
